Good point. And we should all remember, that if the Vice President becomes President, then he/she will nominate a new Vice President, subject to confirmation vote by Congress.
So then, a Vice President Kamala could become President. Then, as President, she could nominate Stacy Abrams to be the new Vice President.
And this is where the makeup of Congress becomes important. If the Democrats control the Senate and House after the 2020 election, then a President Kamala would be able to get a radical Vice Presidential nominee confirmed by Congress easily.
