Don’t confuse Minnesota with Minneapolistan. They are two different worlds.
I am only a few miles from the western front in Minneapolistan and things here are just fine. The American part of Minnesota is just fine. Of course the only thing you ever hear about is the foreign country known as Minneapolistan. We honkies don’t go there unless we really need to.

My wife is from Minnesota. It’s been years since I visited the place, but my recollection is that everywhere anyplace near the twin cities is extremely liberal. Her relatives in Farmington? Bleeding hearts to the max. And Farmington isn’t that close, it’s more farm country.
I just figure the whole place is a dumpster fire. Liberals have that effect.
