It's a real problem. Many radical Democrats have been pretending to be Republicans while answering polls and have also been urging conservatives in conservative social media to answer polls with disapproval against President Trump. They promote answering against the President in surveys as being some sort of help for getting him elected. Don't be stupid enough to believe the trolls and fall for it.

President Trump is not the first person who jumps to mind, when the word “fragile” is mentioned.

My guess is that this hit piece was in direct response to some polling or focus group research, which indicated that voters (or some key demographic) were attracted to President Trump for his perceived strength. So they got the mission to write something to make him seem weak.
