The thing about solid rocket fuel is that once it starts burning, it has to exhaust that fuel supply, you can’t turn it off. Poor manufacturing or storage decisions can look a lot like sabotage and vice versa.

Yes to both. This was a more advanced hit than the centrifuges that spun out of control at the Iranian nuclear site. This was another software glitch that went boom. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of terrorists.
