I agree with you. Things are certainly going downhill much faster than I thought possible.
I bought my Kentucky farm in 2008 two weeks before the election, partly because I saw it as a great bug out location from my Seattle home. I moved there in 2011 and bought the 20 acres next to it a couple of years later (now 32 acres). I’m visiting seattle right now because my father (90) died and were clearing things up.
I never thought the small reason that I honestly didn’t think would really come to pass would actually matter. It’s like putting a gun under your pillow for defense, knowing you will almost certainly never use it - and then find yourself shooting a perp entering your bedroom with a knife.
My wife and I are so glad we moved here. Even when everything was fine we were glad, but this may just save our - and our childrens’ - lives.
Who really believed they would actually USE the bomb shelter...
