Every human population -- the distinct, geographically separated breeding groups that we used to call "races," before that term became politically incorrect -- that exists today contains Neanderthal DNA, generally in the 2-4 percent range, with one exception: people whose ancestry is undiluted sub-Saharan African.
Then there are the Denisovians, who are trickier, and Mitochondrial Eve, whose presence suggests that the species we know today as homo sapiens passed through a bottleneck, a near-extinction event, between 100,000 and 300,000 years ago. We're all pretty close cousins.

Seems like the narrative they wanted us all to now was that the, ugly short, stupid looking cave creature known as neanderthal was a big dummy and they so conveniently cherry picked the modern man out of the two. Typical liberal move. Its all about the science! especially when the science is funded by you. But if all the neanderthals looked like leonardo decaprio well then!
