The woke crowd’s job of changing state flags is just beginning:
GA state flag incorporates the original Stars and Bars.
FL and AL state flags contain the St. Andrews cross of the Confederacy.
The AK state flag contains the St. Andrews cross rearranged into a diamond AND contains a star honoring the C.S.A. put there by Gov. Bill Clinton.
Even the state flags of TX and NC incorporate a star & bars.
The flag wars are just getting started.

.YES!! WE KNOW!! LOL
We see what the real agenda is playing out before our eyes, it wasn’t ever about the Confederate symbols.
Question is, after all we’re seeing, why can’t state officials in Mississippi see it?
Even the state flags of TX and NC incorporate a star & bars.
The Texas Flag was adopted in 1839.
That was before Texans were foolish enough to join the Confederacy.
Thats even before Texas was a state.
I believe that Scotland might object to your description of the St. Andrews cross as being of the Confederacy. Scotland has been using it on their flag since at least 1542. This was some 319 years before the Confederacy started using it.
Imperial Russia might object as well, as the Imperial Russian Navy used the Cross of St. Andrews as their ensign starting in 1712 (149 years before the Confederacy).
“FL and AL state flags contain the St. Andrews cross of the Confederacy.”
That’s not true; the Saltire of Burgundy was the flag of Spain when those states belonged to the Spanish Empire, and that is why it is on the flag. The same flag (white field with red “X”) is also called the St. Patrick’s Cross, and was added to the Union Jack when Ireland was incorporated into the United Kingdom. Before that, the Union Jack only had the red cross (the cross of St. George, for England) transposed on the Scottish flag (the blue field with white X - St. Andrew’s cross) - there was no red X in the Union Jack until Ireland was added (just a plain white one from Scotland).
My state of NJ, in the meantime, has the same flag it flew when it WAS a slave state (no Confederate symbols).
