My 20 year old son lives a few miles from Lowell in a different county. The sheriff is a member of the Constitutional Sheriff’s Association.
I met him at a Lockdown protest in Maryland where he was a guest speaker.
Michigan law is that one cannot have a CCW until 21 but seems pretty silent over whether one may own a pistol below 21 or transport it to the range etc.
I asked him about that and what his response would be.
The immediate answer is “Go to the range and have fun.”
We’re going to be there in a couple weeks for vacation. I told him I’d like to buy him lunch and he gave me his card.
I’m sick and tired of constitutional ignorance.
