If Trump had accurately stated the statistic, the MSM would have ignored it. By including just enough inaccuracy the media could not resist attacking him. Now he has the media reporting on just how bad the blue leadership is.
This should be a lesson for conservatives. The Post is technically right. Unless every t is crossed and every i is dotted they will report that the statement is incorrect. President Trump is famous for being “sloppy” in his speech. He is not a lawyer. However, the vast majority of sane people get his point.
Not only currently run by Democrats but many have had Democrats in sole control for decades. For all the talk about institutionalized racism, one would think that in cities run for decades by liberal Democrats their enlightened liberal policies would have ended racism not made it worse. Case in point Minneapolis, the epicenter of racist police based on the recent police killing of a George Floyd, has been in total control of liberal Democrats for more than four decades. Floyd is only the latest in almost a dozen incidents of Blacks being killed while in police custody in cases going back at least ten years. Why haven’t liberal leadership and policies in Minneapolis solved the problem of racist police years ago?
