Parler does allow liberals to join while FR will kick them off. Not that I want liberal to join but that’s the whole purpose of Parler...to allow freedom of expression...unlike Facebook and Twitter.

I'm seeing a Parler account @TweetsFromTrump that's either Himself or somebody copying everything and puttin' it out for him.
Parler does allow liberals to join while FR will kick them off.
Don't know if FR actually kicks libs off or the poor widdle things just lose interest when they draw scornful responses (or just no response at all) to their asinine rants.
So far, Parler seems to operate on the same general basis.

The idea is that there is a lot of leeway in Parler.
I stand by my assertion that like refusing to watch football because of the kneelers, or to by a product because they put out silly talk....there is a way to fight those social media sites that somehow seem to be the most popular gathering spot.

President Trump actually said on an interview that he was thinking of joining Parler. Both Rand and the other Paul belong. Dan Bongino is now half owner. Mark Levin belongs (and I’m pretty sure that Levin belongs to FR). Lots of big names.
And it seems to be a simple site to use. I like it better than Twitter.

FR has a lot of give and take. Way more open than many forums. For example, emptywheel.net. If you don't drink the KoolAid, you'll get shut down. One frequent commenter, bmaz, is frankly, well... an ass.
I enjoy going over there when things aren't going his way and just reading the anger in his posts. I know I should not feel that way, but he is something else. He's always the smartest guy in the room.

What I worry about Parler and the more fair, neutral apps is that Google Play and the Apple Store will remove the apps so you cannot download them. Then they’re limited to only PC users.
They’ll say “Racists are on Parler so we can’t allow it in our store!”
They won’t have to prove Parler itself is racist... Just that some users say racist things, but Parler doesn’t stop them (or promote their statements, either).
Parler doesn’t limit anyone speech except that which is illegal. But Apple and Google will want it to be like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. A safe place for snowflakes, where only the Left decides what’s hate, racist, etc.
