The Shah divorced the wife he loved.. to marry another to have a son. He got his son.. but it wasnt his first wife’s fault to birth girls.
Iran also went from modern dress to women completely covered.. some laxity lately.. but stoning is punishment
How would the US take that kind of shock change.
