Baker is a “Republican” in that he’s a Democrat who couldn’t get nominated as a Democrat. Just like Bloomberg.
He’s a fiscal conservative who unlike his predecessor balanced the budgeg and makes the police report crimalians to ICE. No Democrat does that. Bottom line he’s governed soundly without getting caught up in political pissing contests.
