wow! that’s alot of info. Does anyone here have the article handy that states they are double counting positive results?

Not exact - but my observations.
Back around March 30th was when we started with 20K plus new cases a day. Since then it has been more most of the time and is now in the range of 30K +.
April 7th saw the 2K + deaths a day but has been trending downward since then.
So more people have it but less are dying from it.
I’d say a number of reasons for that. Ramped up testing is one reason. You couldn’t get a test here in NC back in April but now if you have a symptom you get the test. Plus it looks like the virus has burned through the vulnerable rest homes and the remainder are now hardened against it.
All just my opinion - but I do stare at the numbers a lot.
