According to an exclusive poll carried out by the Democracy Institute in America, President Trump is still one point ahead of his Democrat rival, the former Vice President Joe Biden by 48 percent to 47 percent with 5 percent undecided.Crucially though Mr Trump is six points ahead in the swing states of Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin by 50 percent to 44 percent.
Based on these results the President would see off his rival in the electoral college by 293 votes to 245 with Trump picking up Minnesota where George Floyd was killed and the Democrat stronghold of New Hampshire but losing Michigan and Wisconsin.
In a week where he has faced intense scrutiny and criticism the shock poll suggests that voters in the US approve of the way he has handled the crisis by 56 percent to 40 percent.
In a week where violent protests have damaged many peoples businesses, property and lives, Trumps decision to call Antifa protest group terrorists got a 56 percent approval rating while the same number think Biden has not been strong enough in condemning violence.
Given a choice, 63 percent want law and order prioritized while only 32 percent want relations with black Americans and the police prioritized.

If Trump wins MN he’s not losing the other two states.
There is a series on Netflix about Donald trump that seems very good. I just watched the first episode and thought it was very even handed in its portrayal.
I just can’t see Michigan going for Biden after their struggles with Governor Looney Tune.
Note that Minnesota is now a swing state. Don’t recall MN being cobsidered a swing state before. Was always solidly democrat.
Agree.
Libs are going to have another miserable four years as DT wins again.
I cant imagine him not winning Minnesota after what the rest of that state has gone through, and watching the Minneapolis debacle close up.
The problem is, Trump wins, but the Republicans can’t seem to field good Congressional candidates and we lose the Senate and the House. What good is that?
Only state not carried by Reagan in 84 was MN.
MN has voted blue for a long time, but Trump came pretty close in 16. It could well switch this year. God knows it has reason to.
Trump on course for victory because of the riots.
“Protests” Geez.
Just FYI, this poll was released on June 7th, so it is a few weeks old.
RE: Just FYI, this poll was released on June 7th, so it is a few weeks old.
Has any major situation changed since June 7 that will cause people to change their minds?
Unless the control both the House and the Senate, which is a real possibility. Then they will be elated to have full control of legislative business and continual investigations and impeachments of Trump, to include as many witnesses and so-called witness testimonies as they so desire.
Yeah, miserable. /s
Well,, the gop won a thousand seats in Congress and legislatures during the Obama regime, so their record has not been all that bad. It just seems that way because the media censors any good news about republican candidates and wont give them any air time.
Be prepared for this eventuality.
If you’re waiting for the situation to get worse from the Left, you’ve waited too long.

See, these polls are just pathetic. But if you're into that stuff, there is a British poll of America (and oddly, the Euros poll us better than we do) showing Trump up 1 nationally and winning the swings states for an EC win.
