The police reform bill proposed by GOP Sen. Scott, one of three African American senators, failed to advance in the Senate
Senate Democrats on Wednesday block a Republican-led police reform bill, failed to give the GOP enough votes to pass the 60-vote threshold for the measure to proceed.
Before the procedural vote, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, who led the GOP reform effort, called on his Democratic colleagues not to "walk away" and instead debate the bill and offer amendments.
House and Senate Democrats have already proposed their legislation to but an end to police brutality, particularly toward black Americans, and have said Senate Republicans' bill doesn't go far enough.
"Let it be their [the public's] bill. Not Tim Scott's bill. Not the Republican bill. Not the Democrat bill but a bill that starts to address the issues that have plagued this issue for decades," Scott said on the Senate floor. "This is not my start. I started five years ago."
Scott, one of three African American senators, asked Democrats to "vote for the motion to proceed so that we have an opportunity to deal with this very real threat to the America that is civil."
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell voted no so the bill could be reconsidered at a later date.
Following the vote, Sen. David Perdue blasted the Democratic senators who blocked Scott’s police reform bill from proceeding to debate.

Democrats hate Blacks. Democrats support Planned Parenthood (established to abort - murder - Black babies), BLM & Antifa (the Democrats modern version of the KKK). The Dems only want POWER and they’ll destroy America to get it. Then they will enslave us all.
Neither side wants to pass a bill. Both sides just want the issue to use against the other side during the election.

This is very much like Obamacare. One side will campaign on passing it, the other fighting it. Both will collect votes and money while doing so.
No surprise. DEMOCRATS are, and have always been, all talk when it comes to improving black lives. They want them kept on the Democrat Plantation to “Pick Cotton”(VOTE) for them.

They have to keep the fearmongering going on every election cycle to keep them on the plantation. That is how they get 95% of the black vote. Maybe what Trump should do is divide blacks into “law abiding blacks” and “criminal blacks”, since both of the heinous current controversial killings involved blacks who had committed jailable offenses. Neither one deserved to die, but both would still be alive if they didn’t break the law. To expect special treatment because you are black is as racist as it gets.

We don’t need any kind of police reform bill.
We do need new anti-insurrection, anti-looting, anti-destruction laws and an increase in the number of jails.
