Among registered voters. I know polls are what they are, but at some point you have to at least wonder.

We'll know more tomorrow when those polls come out. Keep in mind that there has been battleground state polling since May.
Here are my composite averages of the battleground states that I'm using in my prediction model:

I see from the replies so far that we haven’t gotten past one of the common I-don’t-like-this-poll-therefore-it’s-wrong talking points and that’s the one which goes:
“Any poll of just REGISTERED voters which shows Democrats winning is bogus.”
Thanks to the soon to be unprecedented amount of mail-in voting which will occur in November — particularly in critical Democrat-run states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina — in which all REGISTERED voters (and maybe even those who are not) are going to get ballots if the Rats have their way:
1. Thousands of voters will actually cast a mail-in ballot (whereas in any other year most of them likely would not have gotten off their asses) because now it’s so much easier, and/or
2. Their votes will “harvested” by Democrats or counted via some other form of vote fraud by Democrats, while ballots mailed from Republican areas just might possibly mysteriously disappear in the hands of the DPWU (Democrat Postal Workers Union).
Bottom line is that this year a “registered” voter becomes a “likely” voter with a much higher degree of probability than any election in the recent past.
That’s kinda my thought. I am not a “polls” person but at some point the trend needs to be addressed. I simply do not believe that every poll is biased, oversampled, “look at 2016”, or wrong. Trump needs a HUGE policy win in an hurry.
Agreed. Or take the other approach and get some ads out there which make it explicitly clear what life for the good people of this country will be like when Democrats have total control of the federal government, not to mention vastly increased control of numerous state governments.
Forget about ads hitting on Blithering Biden.
Show ads featuring the racist monkeys and gutless punkies who occupy Seattle, Minneapolis, etc. Show the Democrat mayors, governors and other politicians who support them; hit them with their own words and actions.
Extrapolate from there to what those animals will do once they have complete power.
Hammer on that until the cows come home. Anyone who cares one iota about the future of this nation has zero excuse for not voting.
The Democrats already have the House and the Supreme Court and are inches away from having the Senate too. The Senate is critical to keep under any circumstances, but especially if Trump somehow ekes out a win.
There will be no stopping impeachment if the Republicans don’t at least keep the minimal, nominal “control” they have now.
That is true. It will have as much effect as the polls had in the last election. Since the big Blue states are the population centers are mostly democratic, it will always be tough to win the popular vote. However, as these cities go to hell, I suspect some will drift towards Trump. Fortunately, (at least for now), the presidency is decided by the Electoral college.
Most of President Trump’s states are solid red. The close ones have been trending more red. If you shift most of the votes Johnson siphoned off of Trump in 2016, then the state becomes red or redder. The dems lose a couple of points because Biden is not a woman. A couple of more points for security moms. A few points from BLEXIT. A few points from Latino job improvements and the wall to keep out illegals competing for their jobs. A few points from the Asians that had their businesses trashed. And several points from a much larger silent majority now that they have seen how he governs.
Now you know why they are scared and pushing for massive voter fraud.
You're right. And that point will be around mid-October when these polling firms feel the need to protect their credibility by finally reporting accurate results. Their results prior to then have the singular purpose of keeping the check writers writing checks. The polls up until then are not about truth and accuracy. They're all about cash flow. Do yourself a favor and ignore any polling done by the alphabet networks especially since they don't poll. The poll that matters will be the one on Nov 3rd.
I don’t get it, who actually answers polls? I know I never answer any numbers that I don’t know on my phone, and I have to believe at least most like-minded people are the same. So how can they ever really get a gauge of how many Trump voters are out there?

Yours are more reasonable but I still think there is a HUGE contingent of “secret” Trump voters that will not deal with the pollsters. They were there in 2016 and their numbers have increased greatly imo.

I don't know if this is no more than just an internet rumor, but I keep seeing whispers that there is an incalculable number of newly registered who will be voting in their first presidential election this year and they'll be voting Trump. This should keep the DNC up at night.

I don’t understand why anyone takes any poll seriously at any time after the polling constantly showing a big win for the most corrupt politician in American history.
