Well of course you cannot see the subs and the Pentagon sure isn’t going to reveal their location.
In any case they can easily stand off 1500 miles from their target and hit it with pinpoint accuracy using the up to 24 MIRV missiles they have, each missile capable of delivering 10+ independently targeted missiles with an average yield 5 times that of the bombs dropped on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
