I don’t know, I would not extrapolate AOC’s NY 14th to the entire D party. We already know about tons of walk aways to the R side, we hear normal D party voters disgusted with the party. So I don’t buy the claim that we’re going socialist.

She’s right - it is a mandate. Democrats in her district spoke and the answer was clear and unambiguous.

She will still get redistricted out after the census.

Probably none. I don’t believe they are permitted to vote in a Den primary.

RE: Ok NYers ...splain this!
Hey, I’ma NYer, and I don’t live in that district, so leave me out of this. That district is responsible for what it votes for.

bet her district gets gerrymandered after the census.
She'll move if she has to. She has enough of her people, and she is a name-brand now, that she can have the seat as long as she wants it.

She won handily. However, there is a Republican-Conservative candidate and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, the moderate who challenged Occasional Cortex in the primary is still on the Independence Party and Serve America Movement (SAM) lines, and she got Sandy off the Working Families Party line.
I wonder if MCC will keep running, given that she’s still on the November ballot.

Bowman has declared victory.
Carolyn Maloney still has a small lead in her district, but it hasn’t been called yet that I know of.
