“No longer accepting applications” is common on LinkedIn. Our Dalit friends have nothing to do with job postings expiring on LinkedIn.
Usually, expired LinkedIn postings get extended or replaced. If Tech hiring has stopped, there’s no reason to repost job openings.
My thinking is these listings were just there to justify the need for Indian H1Bs so Americans can apply, be deemed no qualified, and this proof be used in justifying no qualified American applications. Similar to Dalit email-based recruiters. Hence the absolute requirement of Americans to submit their CV over and over again.
