He was quite certain Hilary Clinton was taking not only Florida, she was going to take Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia and of course Michigan Wisconsin anxd and Pennsylvania were long in the bag. And this was in late October 2016.

Obviously, Trump's campaign disagrees and is no longer sanguine about his chances. Money talks, and their desperate investment in Iowa is indicative of their poll-driven unease.
