....Maduro on state TV accused opposition parties, which have controlled the National Assembly for the last five years, of robbing Venezuela of its wealth and plotting a foreign invasion aimed at ending his socialist government.

The National Assembly is the only branch of government Maduro doesn’t control. That will change with the next election, he said.

“People of Venezuela, the hour is drawing near, the day is drawing near, the moment is drawing near,” Maduro said. “With the popular vote we are going to remove them from the National Assembly. We are going to take them out.”...

Cindy Sheehan, Medea Benjamin, Maxine Waters and AOC are very happy. In fact, the whole damned Black Caucus and White Progressive Caucus are elated.

Communist traitors are communist traitors, and they don’t give a damn about the freedom-loving people of Venezuela or Cuba or Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, or even No. Korea and Red China.

I lived in Venezuela in the early seventies. It was the most prosperous nation in South America. This was before Chavez and the present Maduro. It was good duty back then. At the same time was much trouble in Columbia due to the Marxist FARC. Many people fled Columbia to Venezuela.

Today Columbia has a stable nation and government. Today millions have fled Venezuela to Columbia. Some stay in Columbia and others go to Peru, Ecuador and Brazil. They go to where they have friends or relatives that can give them help. Those that have no relatives or friends are the most in desperation. They are to be pitied.

If one wants to know who the good guys are it is very simple. Just observe the direction of the footprints of the oppressed and desperate. They point to Columbia and Brazil.

There is a bridge between Columbia and Venezuela at Tarija. I have crossed that bridge many times just as a tourist. Today I have seen images of that bridge that are most sad. It is a bridge of just desperate people leaving. Once on the other side they will do anything to just survive. The men will do any work they can find and the women if they can not find work will sell their bodies to survive and provide for their children and family.

That is the result of Chavez and Maduro’s Marxism. Venezuela once a great nation is now failed. It can happen here also.
