Is this what it's come down to in this country, where a simple pull down rope with a loop tied in it on a rollup garage door, is "mistaken" for a "noose" and is investigated by NASCAR, the local authorities, the FBI and the DOJ Civil Rights Division as a possible hate crime?

Who are these morons who embarrass themselves with their ignorance of the common, everyday world? I have rollup doors on one of my barns and the pull down ropes look just like this. What, do I need to hide them now or untie them so I don't go to prison for a suspected hate crime? Unbelievable.

This is what happens when the culture focuses too much on racism and not on the freedoms available under our constitution.

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. What's next, there was black pepper left on every table after a picnic? Or a slice of leftover watermelon was thrown in the trash as evidence of a hate crime?
