In my world every one of the miscreants I could round up would be fastened to a Jersey barrier with welded chain. They’d then be given an unlimited supply of toothbrushes, baking soda, and spray bottles and would be released when every molecule of paint had been removed from said memorial. And they’d sleep right there on the concrete under the stars until they were finished. Bread and water courtesy of the county.
This is in NORTH Carolina. Where is Governor Cooper? Oh, that’s right. He’s busy enabling the removal of two statues from the statehouse in Raleigh. Where are the police? National Guard?
