I have studied for thirty years Russia from pre-tsarist times to Imperial Russia, the USSR and finally, the successor states to the USSR.
While all these institutions, media, schools and tech are aligned now, once the left overwhelms the system in the USA, all of those supporters will be gone.
The communists will not trust a group of people whose allegiance was once at one time and then another. An entirely new group of true believers will take their places. Communists are very adept at disapearing people.
