After Sessions, Bolton is Trumps next worst appointment.
It’s amazing how many truly crappy people he picked.
He could have saved himself a lot of grief had he picked people that were more loyal to him.
The Senate has slow walked Trump’s appointments. McConnell is in favor of the swamp. This is on the Senate Republican leadership. They want to get back to the good old boys perfumed prince version of the Senate.
I don’t agree with the Sessions Bolton comparison. Sessions was believed by Trump to be supportive. Frankly he was one issue person, illegal immigration which was tops on Trump list. Bolton never had a style or indication he would follow Trumps lead. If anything, it was a tragedy from day one and Trump bears that onus. So, from Sessions he got stabbed in the back from a poor decision by Sessions, guided by the dem DOJ, whereas he knew going in from day one that Bolton was not his guy.
