Just finished Heather MacDonald’s book “War on Cops”. In the preface she correctly points out that the war on cops is really a war on our present culture. This is why you see the toppling of statues and rewriting of history and historical figures. The Enlightenment didn’t happen that created our free country. Willnerforce didn’t get the British parliament to stop the slave trade cols with British navy. Lincoln didn’t emancipate the slaves and we haven’t been paying civil rights reparations with the Great Society laws of the 60’s.
