This is the sort of battle one would expect to read about in thick, dusty history books. Something year 300 AD. You wouldn’t think such primitive, Cave Man type methods would be employed in the 21st Century, but here we are. All for the domination of land area.
In any fight ,hand-2-hand or gun fights , there is not such thing as a fair fight , for if you do you’re loosing.

Your post reminded me of the old bit of wisdom most usually attributed to Albert Einstein. It went something like:
“I cannot tell you what sort of weapons will be used to fight the Third World War. I can tell you that the war after it will be fought with sticks and stones.”
