My Dad turns 90 next week.
Every year is a miracle. Praise God!
Dads are “special”, but once they hit 90, it seems to me they’re extra-special. My SIL’s dad is going to be at the cookout - he’s 92 & a Korean War vet ... not in great health. He’s also a widower & with COVID, other than my SIL & his caretaker (he’s able to stay at home, not in a facility), he’s been socially isolated. He really wants to come to the cookout & he also LOVES steak. We’ll send him home with an extra one so he can have steak & eggs for breakfast. He’s a grand old guy & I can’t wait to see him - my dad is looking forward to seeing him, too. Also an avid Trump fan, BTW - I’m sure he had the rally on last night.
