If I am any yardstick, young guys are simply more one-dimensional in many respects, and pursuing girls is one of them.
I really tried hard but was mostly unsuccessful, but I went to events in pursuit of a girls that in retrospect were kind of funny, because I would never have gone to them if there wasn’t a girl who tried to get me to go.

White guys go cruising at these demonstrations trying to meet girls. Yes they do. I believe it happened a lot at the Vietnam “peace” demonstrations in the 70s. Some of the guys may have been anti war protesters, but many were there, thinking the women were giving out free sex.
