The Justice Department team that is leading the prosecution of alleged child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein includes the daughter of former FBI Director James Comey.
Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said at a press conference Monday that Maurene Comey is part of the public corruption unit handling the case against the well-connected and wealthy businessman.
Maurene Comey, an assistant U.S. attorney, was named alongside Alex Rossmiller and Alison Moe as the prosecutors assisting Berman with the case...
I wish was reading that NY Atty. Letitia James was resigning. She is dead serious about ‘resistance’.

Why was a U.S. Attorney allowed to get POWERFUL? Naturally, they ALL should have been fired by Jeff Sessions on DAY 1.

US Atty for SDNY Geoffrey Berman was fired. The news came as a shock tonight. Sources close to him & DOJ official say AG Barr offered him other positions including head of Civil Division at main justice and Berman declined.

BREAKING / NBC News: In a statement U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman says “I have not resigned, and have no intention of resigning.”
He says he found out he was “stepping down” by reading it in a press release.
What did they find on him?????
