When Your Private Dinner Conversation Becomes Your Waiters Facebook Post
I doubt we'll be eating out much even now that it's started opening up.
A couple of times Ive been taken aback at what I heard customers say at their table. The reality is that wait staff can overhear without trying and will talk in the kitchen, though most try to not be too critical of those leaving us tips.
The story in your link shocks me. Bartenders usually keep their mouths shut-its part of the job and restaurant owners respect customers.
The bartender is the very definition of a snowflake if he was “distraught” because a customer thought the BLM movement was BS and that white privilege doesn’t exist. The owners were cowards to hire him back after firing him and for banning the customer forever because of some backlash on social media.
Two sides can play that game....Mission on the Bay restaurant should get bombarded with catcalls by conservatives. They need to get the yelp and Red Hen restaurant treatment.
That’s what they want—no police but Stasi and social media is the backbone. Most participate willingly, yes, lets all tear down the ‘Karens’ (being ‘Karens’ in doing so). Social media is poison, it’s communist.
Thanks for the link, it should be a post of its own.

Don’t communicate in writing if you can speak it. Don’t speak it if you can express it with a wink of the eye.
Just wow. Thanks for sharing. Social media truly is the bane of our times,
And might as well lose your phone and Alexa and Siri while youre at it.
They spy on you as well.
