They tipped their hand by claiming the increase BEFORE his rally.
Increased testing sure doesnt hurt when you want to make it look like numbers are increasing.
Why the /sarc? Do people not get the flu in Florida?
Its summer. Virus is dying out
Virginia’s numbers, by the most stupid method of simply dividing deaths by positive tests, are 2.8%.
We have numbers by age, and most of our deaths were old people in nursing homes. The deaths/positive for people under 40 was 0.06%. For under 60, 0.33%. For over 60, 12%, for over 70, 19.8%, and for over 80, 25.8%
The over-80 number is disturbing, given that we tested entire populations at some nursing homes, so we have all the negatives and positives. Fortunately, over-80 in virginia was only 5.6% of the total infections, because we did a slightly better job than some states at protecting our old people.
Horrible! That is a .00002 death rate! SOMEBODY SAVE US!!!!
I know this is tragic . sarc
Our Gov said more people have died over the age of 90 than all those under 65 combined.
So when I went into publix today and saw a family of 4 parents about 40 years old and kids about 10 all with masks then you know the media have done their job to scare and lie to people
No testing numbers in the article?
This is true, within a 5 mile radius here, there are 10 free testing stations.
Of course they’re going to get more positive cases once testing has gone state wide.............All the positive cases recorded today would have gone unreported 6 weeks ago.............
Our entire country is being herded over a cliff (like Stupid buffalo) by the elites. Only because people are asleep when they should see through these lies. I pray the Lord comes soon. Maranatha!
No it is not the flu. It is less than the flu.

Is the flu still spreading at this rate in Florida? Or anywhere else?
Another stellarly intellectual post from someone with neither nuance nor a fundamental grasp of disease.

That’s why I asked the question.
A definite abuse of power and unconstitutional.
From:
https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/
Testing Results
Positive 89,748
Negative 1,443,123
Total 1,532,871
They are doing a large amount of testing, and getting very few positives.
My biggest concern for Florida is the drain on Intensive Care Unit beds in hospitals. Neither the testing rate nor the death rate really take into account the number of COVID-19 patients who are sick enough to need intensive care. The drain on taxpayers’ wallets from paying for Medicare/Obamacare hospitalizations is my real concern. The CDC is estimating an average of about $30,000 per patient for hospitalized coronavirus cases, nationwide.
From Fox Business: “Floridas Palm Beach County running out of ICU beds
Rising coronavirus cases is a concerning factor for county hospitals that have few available ICU beds left”
