There is no law or order involved now in assessing possible crime or violations by cops. The LITERALLY howling mob is LITERALLY in charge. Pure POLITICS is driving the law’s response to any given situation.

My husband has a regular customer who is a black cop in the metro area. Hubby asked him a couple of days ago what he thought the cops should have done differently. He said that they did exactly what they were trained to do and he would have done the same.

Part of me says Good for these guys for pushing back. Another part of me says Those that want the police abolished are getting what they want without having to do any heavy lifting. Dangerous times my friends.
Just got this email from an Atlanta police officer:
“Atlanta police officers are refusing to answer the radio and walking off of the job. The county can go screw themselves. If you want a society without police we’ll give you one. Let it burn!”
Dude fell asleep IN THE DRIVE THRU LINE. They had to wake him up twice. They asked him to drive to a parking spot and *he drove up over the curb before reversing into a spot* [note the ** was _not_ seen on video - but everything else was.]
Dude was respectful if confused - blew a .108 - which is DUI in Ga.
At the moment the officer went to handcuff, the dude began fighting two cops, stole a taser, got away, and shot the taser at one of the officers. That’s when he was shot.
The police dept posted the entire 2 hour body cam vid - that along with wendy’s video puts it together easily.
lets think about this
if the cops call in sick, the cities riot
in a couple of days, no more city food, and the zoo animals need to forage in the surrounding suburbs.
so what the city mayors are really saying when they arrest city cops for doing their jobs is that the suburbs are now expendable.
meanwhile, in the suburbs, it is not as if people have not been expecting something like this to happen sooner or later. also, they have the advantage that their supply line is of length 0.
imho the critical theorists should revisit their theory...

APPLES & ORANGES = The Atlanta Police Department is NOT at all the same thing as the air controllers were, as the police are CITY employees.
The SHORT answer is that the city government is NOT going to fire union members for “calling in sick”.
