That was my immediate reaction also. Blackmail. The final say on each nomination came with a future payback. We are now back to restroom sharing with men claiming to be women and businesses having to hire persons who can claim to be a different sex however they decide each day. These life long judge positions need to be abolished and term limits set to a reasonable time. We no long live in an era that supports the notion that judges will function better without bribes etc if they do not have to worry about their lives or jobs.
