About 2 decades ago, I knew a fellow, who ran focus groups for MDs for all types of specialities.
Sometimes he conducted small ones for Infectious Disease MDs
I asked him to ask his ID audiences why most of our flu viruses came from China, and that most of us didn’t believe the BS of the bugs/viruses coming here via migrating birds.
He asked that ? with 2 different groups and got basically no response from anyone. Those groups just rolled their eyes at each other and moved the discussion to other bug/virus discussions.
Then, he was told by whomever was paying for the focus groups not to ask that question any more.
Shut down all borders and flights for all swamp creatures. Problem solved.
