A couple of years, a similar if not the same cell phone monitoring company did a massive survey of how many people used/drove on a local main road, basically from their driveways to the entrance to the road and exiting the road.

No one was excited nor seemed to care how they were being monitored from their driveway to work site. The study included 3 counties and several good size cities.

FasTrak is our system to pay tolls without using cash or getting into lines to pay the tolls.

They use them to tell us how fast the next exit is coming up or several exits while driving on a freeway.

In the LA area, the Fastrak can be used at a lot of parking lots and some fast food stores.

This is a B.S. study as geolocation on the phones is only good within about 50 feet, so they can’t tell if someone is right next to another person or 50 feet away.
