Counting “Trump judge” chickens was always a fools errand given the ideological unreliability of GOP nominees historically. I didn’t expect such a major back stab from Gorsuch so soon but here we are.

Of course, the fact that one is cool with gays doesn’t mean that one HAS to decide for them. See late Chief Justice Rehnquist who was good friends with his gay neighbors but voted against judicial activism in their favor.
