Those many people who disagreed with me about the power of the media as propaganda have been proven wrong. Two years ago they said "I stopped watching TV" "People don't watch traditional news any more" "Ignore the media."
But propaganda every day and night has an effect. The airport, commuter station, college lounge and hospital waiting room CNN has an effect. And how do all of us know about the topics when all our neighbors are talking about something? Because the media broadcast that to them and indirectly to us. "They say the governor is going to open up restaurants soon." "I heard masks do help against the virus." Known even if you and I never turned on the leftist TV media.
So they hear Trump is a racist and hates women---90,000 times. And both are outright lies. No facts to back up either canard. But millions believe that.
I have never underestimated the media or the power they have to influence the nation.
Every nightly newscast and most of print media should be considered a donation to the DNC.
This, more than anything else, is why Trump’s poll numbers with suburban moms are not what they should be. These ladies watch the View and other leftist shows that do nothing but criticize Trump.
