A drunk man is passed out in the Wendy’s line, cars have to go around him. Wendy’s manager and employees decide to not bother him and let’s him just stay there to sleep it off, while cars just go around him. At some point, the drunk sleepy guy wakes up, drives out of the parking lot and kills someone. Who is responsible? Are you going to take the case against Wendy’s for negligence by not doing more to stop a situation that was knowingly dangerous to the general public? You are some special “conservative attorney”. You really think this jackass was going to go home, sleep it off and turn himself in in the morning?
No. He would have tased the cop, taken their service weapon and used it to jack a car somewhere. Maybe killing the mom of three who was on her way home and just happened to be driving the car he wanted.
Then he would have disappeared in the hood where he would have been hidden by every person there.
It would likely be years before this feral jackass would be taken down and who knows how many crimes of varying lethality he would have committed by then.
