As many Democrats demand police de-funding, an ex-cop has emerged on Joe Biden’s shortlist of veep contenders — troubling some activists.
Val Demings, 63, a two-term Florida congresswoman, has seen her star rise dramatically in recent weeks as riots flared around the country following George Floyd’s death and the Biden campaign gave new weight to African American aspirants for the running-mate job.
“She’s fresh and new, seems better on TV than Kamala [Harris]. I think right now she’s got an outside but decent shot at VP,” one Biden campaign insider told The Post. Demings has publicly stated her interest in the job.

She may be an ex-cop, but she only needs to show her “wokeness” to get in the good graces of the sainted BLM.
The only thing Biden is considering is whether to have the red or green jello.
The left has proven they will embrace anyone no matter how much they detest them because the ultimate pursuit is absolute power.

And Kamala Harris used to be a prosecutor. So is she going to be passing muster with these radicals?
It would be satisfying from our point of view, to see Joe pick a running mate who angers the leftists.
I hope Biden picks her because she will be fun to poke fun at (and she’s a cop which will piss off the left big time), but how is Demmings better on TV than “Heels Up” Harris ? At least Harris can pronounce words. Demmings is inarticulate, and pretty much assaulted the English language during impeachment.

This girls been making the rounds on the Sunday morning shows she’s got one of those voices that kind of has an error of authority and the fact that she’s an ex cop makes her think she can get away with things but she’s just another Democrat hack politician

i know nothing about Mrs. Demings but from a couple hours doing web searches.
the same info (and same sentences) keep recurring at every website about her. SO, her bio is being very carefully managed.
from what I can learn, she has two advantages over Harris for VP and maybe 3
1. she is apparently a person of decent or good personal morals in her private life (not taking about her immoral politics)
2. she could help flip Florida’s 26 electoral votes to Biden? Whereas, Harris has zero appeal and California’s electors will go to Biden no matter if he selects Curly the Stooge as his Veep
3. she MAY be Constitutionally qualified for the Veep job, though a lengthy web search has failed to reveal where her parents were born. So this remains an open question.
On the other hand, Harris has carefully erased almost all her family information from her websites and from public view (and from all previous web news reports she is not constitutionally qualified for the Veep job, since it requires the same natural born citizenship as does the Presidency. So, regardless of whether the R party raises the issue or not (remember it did not do so in 2012 and 2016 while it had a clear cut case of an unqualified opponent), there are millions of voters who will still quietly vote for someone who they can ascertain is legally qualified for the post
Finally, Demings supported Biden early, while Harris made a big deal about undercutting Biden’s candidacy until about the time it became clear he would be the D nominee. Loyalty plays a big part of WashDC politics, I therefore think Biden would pick Demings before Harris
we will see (and I still can’t find out much about Mrs. Demings other than very limited, obviously controlled positive data that keeps repeating, word for word in many instances, all over the internet) can anyway supply any real info about her? I can see that most of her political positions (abortion, 2A rights, and she was impeacement manager for Pelousy) are antithetical, but what about her as a person, or? thanks!

This will not sit well with FL democrats btw— because Disney is not (except in the queer community) liked whatsoever— the environmentalists can’t stand them.
The notion that this motorcycle patrol officer (who likes to talk about her mom .. the maid, and “descended from slaves” (like who, in the world is not descended eventually from slaves? Truly?). The most damnable thing about her support is also a network of muslims (like a local DA who would not prosecute a black murderer of his pregnant wife, and who then killed an Orlando Police female officer shooting her in the face in a Walmart (100s of witnesses), and was protected the black muslim “community”. FL Atty Gen Pam Bondi had to remove the prosecutor (black one, and a muslim) for this very reason.
These are who support Demings, that and the machine of her husband who is the County Mayor and was Sheriff (a terrible sherriff who was OPD before). Couple of incompetents- because they are incompetents and political activists first (nothing about being black, provable incompetence). Stacey Abrams will be majorly pissed, and even more so if the Atlanta mayor (a “manly” looking lite skinned black woman) gets the nod.
Point is Demings will not deliver ANY votes (which is usually what a VP choice would be sought for).

She is totally unlikable, perpetually angry, and is an ABSURD drama queen. I think she’d be a GREAT VP choice for the Senile Geezer Plugs LOLOLOL!
