Read the Constitution. This is a state matter not a federal matter. The local authorities and state government have sufficient resources to deal with the situation.
It is a liberal mindset that the President has to be involved in local affairs or comment on local issues. Insurrection at the local level should be handled by local authorities. If they are impotent, or unwilling, the voters can vote them out of office. If the local voters continue to make poor selections (Chicago for example) they pay the price.
It is common knowledge here and around Baltimore that two or more black guys will shake you down if you are white guy walking alone anywhere near their gang.
If you weaken and try to pay on the demand, they just grab your wallet, and run sometimes after they smash you in the face.
I know You will want to toss me off FR for saying this but this is a BLACK race crime problem. They are violent. They work in gangs. They respect no one. And the cops have reason to be afraid of them too.
FYI Maryland will not let you carry to protect yourself no matter how clean your record is.

The occupiers claim to have “liberated” the area and turned it over to “the people.” Somehow, this liberation involves putting a barrier around the area and monitoring who can enter and leave. Seems like it was more liberated before they liberated it.
