There is no way Middle America can agree with this talk to defund the police.

I have not seen any public opinion polls on that specific subject but if any polls were taken I think that the vast majority of people are against defunding police.

And with some of the loud Democrat voices such as Omar and ocasio-cortez, city of Menneapolis, and mayors DeBlasio and Garcetti in NY and LA saying they will cut police budgets, Middle America could will be scared away from voting for any Democrat for any office. They are seeing what you get if you put Democrats in charge. Politically this can only help Trump and can only hurt Biden.

There is pretty reliable polling that shows a majority of black Americans do not want to “abolish the police.”

The radicals are overplaying their hand here. It makes for great media and a good media narrative about Trump.

However, outside of the hardcore left the media has no credibility.

There will be a rebuke in November. The vast majority of the country want law and order. The democrats are now the party of chaos and disorder. They are fracturing themselves as they try to fracture the rest of the nation. Everyone is “woke” when there is a camera in their face, but we vote in privacy.
