Never airbrush your history.
I use to lament that the Russians allowed the hammer and sickle to be displayed for their Victory marches. Now I understand why, and have no problem with it now. Your history is your history, the good and the bad.
That’s right. Your history cannot be erased, no matter how how hard you try. And, don’t forget, those who fail to remember their history are doomed to repeat it.
