If the POTUS does send troops in it will be to establish a seige kind of thing. Stop the spread and contain the insurrection, cut off supplies/logistics/communications, and begin psychological operations towards the anarchists. Force them to surrender or they have go on offense and attack the troops. This will keep demoncrats failures squarely in the news cycle and (if done right) break the morale of the Antifa thugs as it is going to be made very clear their antics are going to fail..
