The Shadow Government continues its internecine warfare against the Trump Administration, damn the consequences.
What the Shadow Government, unelected that it may be, is doing to itself is much worse than anything the Republicans are willing to do. They expose themselves continually, flailing and stumbling about like a blinded and homicidal beast already badly wounded, but unwilling to give up and die. They commit the most atrocious of acts, thinking and hoping that somehow, it becomes the REPUBLICANS’ fault, logic and facts notwithstanding that most of the damage is self-induced.
It is not unknown that a demented person will self-mutilate so they can then say, “See what you made me do!” This is arrant nonsense of the highest order, because nobody can MAKE you do something that was not already partially intended anyway, and they were just looking for the least pretense of permission.
