One of the few films which try to be faithful to the book it is based on.It also merits being watched at home a number of times. Little things that are important gradually become clear, such as Ashley Wilkes is a good guy but he is weak around Scarlett who is a true steel magnolia. Tell one of those women flat no and watch the volcanic result.They are one of the things I least like about the South.
