Sanders can be surprisingly authentic on occasions. But, I till don’t trust him. But, I will give him his due.
I think that unlike most politicians, Sanders does genuinely believe what he’s saying and believes that his policy changes would benefit people. He’s wrong, and there’s plenty of historical and economic evidence to demonstrate that, but I’ve never viewed Sanders as a typical politician maliciously spouting lies to benefit themselves. He’s just an old kook with bad ideas.
