The Catholic bishops are animated by all the cash that tumbles into Catholic Charities and Catholic Relief Services. Nancy Pelosi has basically bought the silence of the bishops.

St. Robert Bellarmine, a doctor of the Roman Catholic Church, wrote in the 16th century about the possibility of a pope not acting in accordance with the immemorial teaching authority of the Church, based on Holy Scripture and the sacred tradition of the Apostles in the first century AD (the magisterium).

Believing Catholics share the view of Pope Pius XI that one cannot simultaneously be a believing Catholic and a sincere socialist. Also, modern Catholics are rarely if ever taught that socialism is a plain and simple violation of the Tenth Commandment: thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.

I would invite all to read Pope Leo XIII’s “Rerum Novarum”, issued May 15, 1891, which is a brilliant statement of the Christian view of capitalism and socialism/Marxism. It is a scandal that this is not taught in every Catholic school and in every CCD (Catholic Sunday School) class.

I appreciate your response... What is afoot was forewarned by the prophets and Christ Himself. As it is Written there is nothing new under the sun. That which has been shall be again... We have the script already penned, no need to add one jot or tittle to what has already been penned. What is next?
