Technically, there’s only one race - Human.
However, there are various ethnicities within that race, and that ethnic division is what most people colloquially call “race”.

Absolutely wrong. While people tend to use race and ethnicity interchangeably, human/homo sapiens is the genus. There are 5 acknowledged races within the genus. There are various ethnicities within each race. Race is not a colloquialism, any anthropologist or forensic doctor can identify race by looking at your bones.
