A stunning video capturing the aftermath of the rioting in Minneapolis shows buildings and homes burned to the ground, property utterly destroyed and vandalized, and some building still on fire, reminiscent of a war zone.
Protests erupted across the nation last week in response to the death of George Floyd. The protesting, however, quickly turned violent in a number of cities, including, of course, Minneapolis, as well as Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, New York City, Rochester, Richmond, Chicago, and others.
Floyd, who is black, died after a police officer had his knee on the 46-year-old’s neck for over eight minutes during an arrest, as shown in viral video footage. Since the incident, all four officers involved in the arrest have been fired, investigations from the FBI and state law enforcement have been opened, and the officer at the center of the incident was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder. As of Friday, the three other officers involved have been charged, as well.
The swift action in the case, however, did nothing to quell the violence, particularly in Minneapolis.
Two victims of the senseless rioting include Minneapolis firefighter Kb Balla and his wife Twyana, who had their sports bar looted, vandalized, and destroyed.
“In a local newscast, Kb Balla, who is black, was moved to tears showing reporters what was left of his set-to-be-opened sports bar, called Scores,” The Daily Wire reported. “The moving posted went viral and was even retweeted by President Donald Trump.”
A GoFundMe account for the family saw an immediate spike in donations, hitting nearly $700,000 by last Saturday. As of June 7, donations have topped $1.1 million.
Unfortunately, there have been a total of 17 deaths linked to the rioting.
Should change the name from Minneapolis to Mogadishu.
The taxpayer will have to foot the bill. Those with insurance will see their bills rise. IOW, everyone but the low life scum who did this will have to foot the bill.
That’s nothing new. They blame suburban and rural gun owners for the “gun violence” of inner-city gangs.

And then when the businesses are rebuilt and restocked at taxpayer expense, the scumbag rioters will attack again- heck, why wouldn’t they? They get ‘free stuff’ and don’t have to face any consequences for how they get it- Pretty sad when the leaders care more about protecting the Criminals than they do about protecting law abiding citizens-
It’s come to the point in many places where law abiding citizens are punished, while criminals go scott free- It has come to the point where it doesn’t pay to be law abiding- This is anarchy- protected by the ruling class-
A friend of mine from Trenton described the aftermath of the riots there in 1968. The account that he gave was that wave after wave of decent people of all ethnicities fled the city, until the only significant industries left were drug dealing and government corruption. Eventually, those two industries merged into one. I can imagine Minneapolis following the same trajectory.

Hartford, CT underwent an incredible transformation after the 1960s riots.
Most of the ruins are still there, and the economy of the city has not recovered in the past fifty years.
These days the blacks live on the north side of town and the hispanics (mostly Puerto Ricans) live on the south side.
You can guess what happens when their paths cross.
The local liberals have been in denial for sixty years, blaming everything under the sun except the 1960s riots.

Taxpayers and consumers. People that have money will pay to rebuild; higher taxes and higher prices for goods and services. People that do not have money will not pay with money; just misery.
